We are a true Irish Pub.
Everything here was purchased direct from Ireland with historic sentiment. You can learn a lot about Ireland's road to independence by just taking a good walk around. Pubs in Ireland are thought to be the meeting place of a village or community. This requires an intimate, almost "homey" feel. The Greenhouse was designed with two wood burning fire places and a wood burning oven in the heart of the kitchen. Year round you can smell the wood burning and the aroma of home cooked food resonating from our chimneys. Everything here is made from scratch, and we have some great Irish favorites, like Traditional Shepherd's pie, Irish pie, lamb shanks and much, much, more. We offer 13 beers on tap, including Guinness and Smithwick's (Ireland's oldest beer), as well as 12 artesian wines on tap from local vineyards. Our fish, produce, bread, meat and many other items are bought locally, to provide quality and to help support our community.
Pubs are different from restaurants, cafes or bars, as they are considered an extension of a person's home. The Greenhouse was built on a site well traveled, to give people an option to stop off and rest, eat, drink, laugh and enjoy some good "Craic" (/ʔkræk/ krak), or "crack", is a term for news, gossip, fun, entertainment, and enjoyable conversation, particularly prominent in Ireland).
We want our patrons to feel at home and relax, because in our minds you are. Thank you for visiting The Greenhouse Pub, we look forward to seeing more of you.
